Book of Ruth

In the book of Ruth, Naomi gave instructions to Ruth on how she was to approach Boaz at the threshing floor. In Ruth 3: 5-6, it is written;

“I will do whatever you say,” Ruth answered.  So she went down to the threshing floor and did everything her mother-in-law told her to do”

This simple passage shows, once again, the integrity of Ruth. Ruth told Naomi that she would do whatever was instructed of her, and indeed, she followed through on her word. Unlike many people who make meaningless vows or promises, Ruth took hers to heart and did exactly what she said she would do.
