Ups and Downs
The human body is a wonder. It is a curious structure of systems which branch out into different organs that have different functions. One of the healthiest yet easiest function of our body’s muscles is to smile. Smiling is a brilliant way to relieve stress and release endorphins which are responsible for keeping us energetic and happy. Although it is important to be happy. It is also important to be sad. These constant variations of ups and downs help each individual grow and flourish. Each experience is unique. Some good, some bad. They help us be a little bit more balanced. Even the bible says so; Ecclesiastes 7:3 Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. One must eventually at some point in their lives give way to sadness. Give way to tears. It is not a weakness, rather, it is a source of great strength. It is an action that heals. So it’s okay to be sad, just don’t forget that it is not the end, but instead, greater things are in store for you even if things look bleak. Don’t forget to smile.
