The Straight and Narrow Path
Life is all about making choices. We have to choose what we want to become. It is not our fault to be born into such circumstances, but it will be our huge fault if we shall remain in it. We can change our faith if we make the correct choices. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of right or wrong; but sometimes, we can’t seem to find the right direction. As Robert Frost once said:
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
In the biblical sense, usually, the road less travelled is the choice to follow Christ. The invitation is open for all, but not many choose to travel on that path. You know why? Because of the following scripture:
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
(Matthew 7: 13-14)
Only a few people find it. The solution to world peace is right under our noses. It is up to us to make the correct choice by living the Christian way of life and love one another as Jesus did for us.
